The new team site for 2007 is now in public beta. The site has many improvements over its predecessor.
A short list of some of the new features
- Members can now self administrate most of their bio page. For instance, members can now upload their own photo.
- Team admins can now administrate the site more quickly. For instance, admins can use web based admin tools to add new members.
- Comments: Members can comment on photos, news stories, and events.
- Events: all training rides and races are now “events”. An event has a schedule, results, and sign ups. Members can also comment on events.
- Photos: photos are now more prominently displayed. Albums (Photo Sets) can be played as Flickr slideshows. Photos can also have comments.
- Members can add individual photos to their own bio pages.
- Members can decide how “deep” to display their own results on their bio pages. For instance, if a member has many top 5 placings, the member may decide to only show pacings from 1-5 on the bio page. If a member has only a few placings in the top 10, then the member can set “in the top 10” as the results display level.
